Danny Mankin

Danny Mankin is a Contributing Editor at TABLE Magazine, bringing more than 13 years of experience as a creative director, stylist, and merchandiser to the magazine's fashion, design, and lifestyle coverage. Based in Pittsburgh since 2024 and trained at the International Academy of Design, Danny built his career at the intersection of retail, editorial styling, and brand direction — work that spans luxury fashion merchandising, interiors, and menswear.
Danny's client and collaborator list includes Nordstrom, where he worked in fashion merchandising and styling, and Jeremiah Brent Design, where he served as Design Director for ATRiO, a Jeremiah Brent Design and Runyon Group brand. He has also held senior roles in menswear buying and merchandising, including Brand Style Director at Nickey Kehoe
Across these roles, Danny has developed expertise in brand merchandising, fashion and interiors styling, and creative direction for both retail and editorial audiences — skills he now applies to clients on both coasts as well as to TABLE's pages.
At TABLE, Danny styles and writes fashion features, seasonal trend round-ups, holiday gift guides, and interior design shoots. His work appears regularly and plentifully in TABLE's twice-annual Design Book with its emphasis on interiors and seasonal fashion, as well as in gift and shopping guides throughout the year. In addition to his interior design and styling work, Danny also runs a found-object store called Continuum Catalog. Read more of Danny's work at tablemagazine.com .
Why I Style
I got into styling because I love the moment when a room, an outfit, or a table setting stops being a collection of separate things and becomes one idea. That's the same instinct I bring to every story I do for TABLE — whether I'm styling a fashion shoot, curating a holiday gift guide, or dressing a room for a design feature. My years in retail and brand merchandising taught me how to think about what actually makes people want something, and my years in styling taught me how to make that desire visible on the page. At TABLE, I get to do both at once: tell Pittsburgh readers what's worth wanting, and make it look as good as it deserves to.
