Now in 2026 we finally get a movie adaptation releasing February 13. This version by Emerald Fennell (director of Saltburn) stars Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie who perfectly convey the yearning of Catherine and Heathcliff’s tale. Plus its been said the two actors now cannot be without each other which gives us a pretty good sign we’ll be sobbing by the end of it.
