Boozy or not, hot cider is one of our favorite holiday drinks. It’s kid-friendly and, with a quick splash of your favorite liquor, easily made into a comforting, cozy cocktail.
Spiked Cider Recipe
We recommend using this mulled cider recipe from our friend Liz at Octofree® made with Soergel Orchards’ famous apple cider, whole spices like cinnamon sticks and star anise pods, and sliced winter citrus. (For an extra, spicy kick, add in a few half-inch thick pieces of fresh ginger.) Throw in a splash of caramel vodka, a nutty bourbon, or dark rum, and you’re set for a warm, pleasant night by the fire.
