Homemade Pizza Hot Pockets

  • Author: Kenny Cumberland
  • Yield: Makes 3

Description

Lunch for the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fresh pizza dough
  • 6 oz pepperoni
  • 9 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 6 oz cooked mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 oz fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare dough: Divide pizza dough into three 4-ounce portions. Roll each portion into a 4-inch square.
  3. Create filling: Combine spinach, mushrooms, and cheese in a bowl. Divide into three equal portions.
  4. Assemble: Place a portion of the filling in the center of each dough square. Top with pepperoni.
  5. Seal: Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket. Pinch the edges together to seal.
  6. Bake: Place the pizza pockets on a greased baking sheet. Cut three slits in the top of each pocket. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  7. Serve: Accompany your Hot Pockets with marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
