Description

A soft and tender Chinese dumpling to make at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lb pork shoulder (ground)
  • 1 lb shrimp (ground)
  • 1 oz minced ginger
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs


Instructions

  1. Mix everything together and set aside for 1 hour, wrapped with shumai wrappers (1 oz. each).
  2. Steam for 12 minutes.
  3. Serve.
