Description
A smoky-sweet twist on the classic old fashioned, made with award-winning ancho chile liqueur, orange, and bitters for a bold, warm flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 oz BLY Ancho Chili Liqueur
- 0.25 oz Demerara syrup*
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
- 1 orange wedge
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker add BLY Ancho Chili Liqueur and orange wedge. Muddle orange wedge. Add ice and bitters.
- Shake well and double strain into rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange peel.
For the Demerara syrup:
- Bring 1 cup of Demerara sugar & 1 cup of water to a boil in saucepan. Reduce heat & simmer stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves. Cool to room temperature before use.
