Farm to Table Lunch & Learn

Featuring Dorit Brauer, learn how to 'Eat Seasonal' with the Farm to Table staff. In addition to a presentation about local food resources, experts will be on hand each month to highlight or demonstrate the positive benefits of eating local. "ASPIRE: A Retrospective of Young Talent" Opening Reception

PGC’s studio apprentice program has brought nearly 25 young artists to live and work in Pittsburgh over the last seven years. This exhibition will showcase their artwork and tell the story of where they are now and will run March 2 through May 20.

Join FHNC in welcoming spring at our sixth annual Pancake Breakfast and Maple Sugaring Celebration. Enjoy a delicious breakfast of traditional or buckwheat pancakes with Pennsylvania maple syrup, while learning about the history and traditions of maple sugaring. Make-It-A-Date Night

Join us for a private Make-It-Now evening of glassblowing at PGC. Especially designed as a one-of-a-kind date night, each couple will have the opportunity to work together to make a blown glass garden float or ornament. This is definitely a test of compatibility because it takes teamwork to blow glass. After the hands-on hot time, refreshments and entertainment will be provided. Glassblowing demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the night. Call for reservations. $60/couple.

Farm to Table Conference and Local Food Tasting

Farm to Table features farms and food businesses in Western Pennsylvania, who grow, sell or prepare farm raised produce, livestock, and other fresh farm products. Businesses and organizations providing health and wellness opportunities for their employees and members are also prevalent. Farm to Table provides a unique forum where businesses interested in providing healthy food or healthy life style choices to consumers can network and form relationships.
