At the beginning of this year, something very special happened: Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch and Fairmont Pittsburgh Executive Chef Andrew Morrison traded places.

TABLE was there when Hamlisch hosted a private dinner party at Habitat restaurant, introducing each course with a song from the PNC Pops concerts.

Hamlisch and Morrison explained that the menu was inspired by the PNC Pops concerts, "Marvin, Dave Kotz, and the Movies."

Hamlisch was gifted an honorary chef's coat.

The next week, Chef Andrew Morrison took to the stage at Heinz Hall and conducted Rossini's William Tell overture.
